Yep, moved. With the help of my friend Brad (for loading/unloading) and my friend Allison for helping us unload. I’m somewhere around 95% moved. The rest of the stuff not moved is gonna remain where it’s at until I have more places to put stuff.
As of right now I don’t have a whooole lot of area to place stuff. I need to purchase some bookshelves and a table or so. I should be getting a free sofa/love seat from my brother, but thats in Auburn. That’ll be at trip.
I’m sore from moving and unpacking. I got most of it unpacked and assembled. Met some building neighbors, cool people. I’m looking forward to this year at the loft!! I plan on buying 1 or 2 graphics from www.whatisblik.com to put on my walls. There are no wooden studs behind the drywall, instead there are metal studs. I’ve never really tried to hang anything on a metal stud, should be an interesting experience. If anyone has done it before and would like to give me some pointers or help out, that’d be rad.
I made my first walk to work this morning. From my loft to my office (pending on car traffic/elevader traffic) it was around 10min walk. If only I could skateboard then I could be cool and get to work faster haha. I will have a bunch of pictures on here soon. I don’t have internet yet, hopefully I will by this weekend. I might be forced into getting dish network tv (I didn’t plan on getting cable). Forced as in, Foshee might be incorporating the cable into the rent since they are putting the cable in their name and spreading among each loft since dish network requires a 2 year contract.
