New Job and Saturday

I started my new job last week on September 1 working with the Alabama Shakespeare Festival as their Graphic Designer. This job gives me a lot more responsibility and create a lot of print work. It’s a lot of work, but that’s what I wanted. This will help me get more work under my name that I can show to potential freelance clients down the road. So pretty much anything you see with their name on it, pretty good chance I will or have made it!!

So last weekend I went to Atlanta for Dragon Con 2009. Had a blast even though I had a crazy Sinus Infection. Pictures are currently uploading to Flickr as I am typing this up, maybe take another 30minutes for the first set and then another hour or so for the other 2 sets. Lots of pictures, maybe 500 or more haha. Lots of geeks.

So today, I decided to play with my camera and the light coming through my blinds. Here are some images developed:

By Sunday I will have a new post with links to my Dragon Con Pictures, which can be found on my flickr page whenever they’re done to. I saw Inglorious Bastards last night, awesome movie. I hope to see “9″ soon to. Also, seems like three issues I’ve had with this loft will finally be fixed after waiting a freaking year!!! Gotta love Montgomery Fair Lofts and Foshee.

Awful Blogger

Man I am an awful blogger.

This month will be bit of fun for me. July 4th weekend I will be at Destin with some good friends, this will be my first beach trip in about 10  years or so. Should be awesome. Going to a friends/coworkers wedding over the weekend, this should be fun as well.

Look forward to doing some kayaking this summer in the lovely heat of hell Alabama, maybe take on some other trips. September will be DragonCon with a couple friends, that’ll be freaking geekawesome!!

I’ve not taken a lot of photos lately. Some of myself just screwing around, but nothing all the post worthy. I hope to have some stuff to post soon to share.

Work has been work. Glad I have that I still have a job unlike some of my friends who have lost theirs during this stupid economy crap. Look forward to being able to do more creative stuff on my freelance life. Need a website? Cards? Photography? Maybe Video in the future. Always looking to expand my abilities in the artastic world.

Hope all my friends who read this are well and for those of who don’t, hope you get a bad case of mondays haha. Retarded, yes!!

So August is coming up, this means my lease is up. Well I think I’ve decided to stay at the Montgomery Fair Loft another year. I just don’t feel like moving again so soon and I really like walking to work. I also really like the environment and I have a great neighbors. I’m also thinking about getting a dog or cat soon and this place allows them so it works out. Still not sure if I am getting a dog or cat. Dog more likely so that I can go outside with him/her and do stuff. Cats are great, but I grew up with them and so I want something different.

Ahh Dangit

I’m such an awful blogger!! Its been nearly 2 weeks since my last post. Easter was fun. National Record Store Day @ Criminal Records in Atlanta GA was a lot of fun. Bought lots of CDs and other stuff. I have a new car stereo and surround sound at home. Movie night at my place one night! Crawfish Festival this weekend in Bham (May 1/2) and Wolverine Movie!! Then the next thursday is MC Chris at Bottle Tree. Then that weekend is Star Trek. Man I’m going to be broke!! Lots of awesome movies this summer and fun coming!!!

New Things and Potpie

Well as life goes on so do I. Had a great weekend. Had to go the Bham to get my iPhone replaced due to some freezing issues it was having. Went up with my friend Brad and hit up the Summit. Nice short trip. National Record Store day is coming up April 18th and then May 1/2 is the Schaeffer Eye Center Crawfish Boil with a bunch of good music for only $35!!! Anyone wanna go with?? Last weekend Brad and drove down to Downtown Prattville Alabama and did some shooting. Got some pretty good pictures out of it. Here is my flickr Gallery for that day.
